You all know spooky season is my favorite time of year. The temperature is finally bearable, the leaves are changing colors, and there are pumpkin patches, corn mazes and haunted houses everywhere.
If you’re trying to figure out what to do for Halloween in Northern Utah in 2026, there are plenty of options. Whether you’re looking for something with little kids, a fall date night, or actually want to be scared.
Here are some of the best Halloween and fall activities around Ogden, Weber County, Davis County and beyond this year.
Black Island Farms – Syracuse
Black Island Farms is one of those places where you could easily make an entire fall evening out of one stop. It’s great for kids, and grown up kids alike.
During the day, the farm has an 8-acre corn maze, courtyard activities, slides, a barrel train, and a pumpkin patch hayride. The tractor ride takes you out into the field to choose a pumpkin, and one pumpkin is included with each hayride ticket.

Once it gets dark, the regular corn maze has a whole different feel, and Nightmare Acres opens up to a 4-acre haunted corn maze with live scares, plus Zombie Apocalypse Laser Gun hunting. It is actually pretty scary, so it’s recommended for older kids only.

2026 Black Island Farms Prices
Corn Maze + Courtyard:
Adults: $15
Kids ages 3–11: $12
Pumpkin Patch Hayride:
Adults: $11
Kids ages 3–11: $8
Pumpkin Patch Hayride Combo:
Adults: $22
Kids ages 3–11: $17
Courtyard + Nightmare Acres:
$32 per person
Kids 2 and under are free. The 2026 season runs through October 31.
Location: 2075 S 4000 W, Syracuse, Utah
Happy Pumpkin Corn Maze – West Haven
If you’re wanting to stay closer to Ogden, the Happy Pumpkin Corn Maze makes for an easy local fall activity.
The main corn maze is family-friendly and separate from the haunted attraction. Admission to the main corn maze and courtyard is $12 for 2026, and there are also pumpkins, slides, swings, games, food and plenty of places for fall pictures.
2026 season is from September 18 through October 31.
If you want something scarier, the Field of Fear operates Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights after dark. It is $23, and includes the courtyard and main maze as well. They also offer free glow sticks to wear if you want a more mild scary experience.
Location: 3462 W 2900 S, West Haven, Utah
Hunt Family Farm – Plain City
Hunt Family Farm is another great Ogden-area option, if you want traditional fall activities.
The farm has a corn maze, bounce houses, petting zoo, courtyard activities, corn pits, pumpkins and other family activities. General admission costs $13 Tuesday through Thursday or $15 Friday and Saturday in 2026. Pumpkins are sold separately.
Zombie HUNTers
Zombie HUNTers is an interactive nighttime paintball ride through the farm. All equipment is included.
It runs Thursday through Saturday and costs $25 when purchased online or $30 at the gate. Space is limited.
Path of Fears
On Friday and Saturday nights, you can also walk through the Path of Fears haunted corn experience.
It is included in a $20 combo ticket rather than being sold separately.
Hunt Family Farm is open through October 31, 2026.
Location: 3511 N 3900 W, Plain City, Utah
Lagoon Frightmares – Farmington
Frightmares is probably the biggest all-in-one Halloween stops in Utah because you still have Lagoon’s regular rides, tons of activities for kids, and multiple houses for the older kids and adults.

For 2026, Frightmares runs from September 11 through November 8. Prices vary by date, but Frightmares is included with Lagoon admission, which is around $105 most days.
There are great kid-friendly Halloween activities like a straw maze, spook-a-boo, and my favorite for the kids is the Treat Street candy walk.

There’s also 5 full haunted houses for people who want something scarier. The haunted houses include Malevolent Mansion, Frightening Frisco, Nightwalk, Nightmare Midway and Fun House of Fear. I consider this one of the best value haunted attractions in Utah, although the prop quality is not quite up to what the big commercial haunts will put out.

Location: 375 N Lagoon Drive, Farmington, Utah
Haunted Hollow – West Haven
Haunted Hollow is one of a kind because it is a completely outdoor haunt.
Instead of walking through rooms inside a building, Haunted Hollow takes place across a 13-acre wooded outdoor property, through swamp land and tall trees.
You’re literally walking through the forest at night instead of moving through a traditional haunted house.
For the 2026 season, Haunted Hollow is open Friday and Saturday nights in September from 7:30–11 p.m. In October, it adds Wednesday and Thursday nights from 7:30–10 p.m., while Friday and Saturday hours remain 7:30–11 p.m.
Because this is outdoors, definitely wear decent shoes and dress for whatever Utah decides the weather should be that night.
Prices start at $30.
Location: 1550 S 1900 W, West Haven, Utah

Cornbelly’s – Lehi
Cornbelly’s is farther south than the rest of this list, but it is big enough that it deserves a spot on the list if you’re willing to make the drive.
The original Cornbelly’s location is at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi and has more than 60 fall attractions, including a huge corn maze, pumpkin areas, hayrides, slides, Kidsville, farm-themed activities, shows, food and nighttime events.
You can easily spend several hours here, especially with kids.
For 2026, the Lehi location runs from September 21 through October 31.
2026 Cornbelly’s Lehi Prices
Monday–Thursday admission: $19.99
Friday or Saturday admission: $27.99
Children ages 2 and under receive free general admission.
If you want the scary version, Cornbelly’s also has Frightbelly’s, its nighttime haunted experience.
Location: 3003 N Thanksgiving Way, Lehi, Utah
Want Spooky Without a Haunted House?
Ogden also has a fun option if you like ghost stories and local history more than people jumping out at you.
Story Tours offers Ogden ghost walks and bus tours that combine local history with stories of reported hauntings.
This would make a really fun Halloween-season date night, especially if you pair it with dinner on Historic 25th Street.
Which Northern Utah Halloween Activity Should You Choose?
With little kids: Black Island Farms during the day, Happy Pumpkin Corn Maze, Hunt Family Farm, Cornbelly’s or the kid-friendly parts of Frightmares.
For a family with mixed ages: Black Island Farms, Cornbelly’s or Frightmares give you the widest mix of activities.
For a fall date night: Any corn maze after dark, Frightmares, or an Ogden ghost walk.
If you actually want to be scared: Nightmare Acres, Haunted Hollow, Field of Fear, Frightbelly’s or the scarier Frightmares attractions are your better bets. For even more options, see my full Utah haunted house guide.
If you want pumpkins + traditional fall activities: Black Island Farms, Hunt Family Farm, and Happy Pumpkin Corn Maze all fit that classic October night feel.
If you want the biggest fall festival: Cornbelly’s is worth the drive to Lehi.
Day Farms Pumpkin Hayride – Layton
Day Farms is one to keep on your radar if you love a more traditional pumpkin-patch experience and don’t want to pay the Black Island Farms price.
In past years, families have been able to take a tractor-pulled hayride out to the pumpkin field and choose a pumpkin. It is much simpler than some of the large fall festivals on this list, which is part of the appeal.
However, Day Farms has not yet confirmed its 2026 pumpkin hayride schedule or pricing, so I would not plan a trip around it until current dates are posted.
If they do announce hayrides for 2026, I’ll update this guide with the details.
Location: 2500 W Gentile Street, Layton, Utah
Northern Utah has enough Halloween activities that you could do something different every weekend between mid-September and Halloween and still have more that you missed.
And because hours, weather closures and special-event schedules can change quickly during fall, check each attraction’s current information before you head out.
From weekends away to bucket list days, sometimes the best adventures are the ones right in your own backyard.
